Tables groaning with roast pork and dumpings and gravy, wine and beer and bublinki, shiskabobs and goulash, pretzels on wooden hangers, roast duck and cabbage, and even GROG.
And the prices were the final treat.

A visit to the Opera is a must, prices are so much more affordable than in Canada. There are even standing room tickets when all else is sold out. See the standers to the left? Those spots cost $5. and one can move down to front row centre during the first intermission, just make sure that those coveted seats are indeed empty first! But even the private boxes are not expensive, go buy your tickets on the day of the performance and be enchanted.
