Inspiring and supportive teaching and mentoring
for writers and performers
Courses, workshops and one-to-one mentoring to help you connect or reconnect with your creativity, deepen your practice and move your work forward with confidence.
From absolute beginners to those already on a writing/artistic journey – all welcome.
Unlock your creative potential
Do you want to write fiction but aren’t sure where to start? Are you developing a new performance project and want a creative mentor to help shape your ideas?
Have you reached a point in your life where you’re ready to connect or reconnect with your creative voice and discover what’s next?
I offer thoughtful, tailored support and guidance for writers, theatre makers, and artist-scholars at every stage of their creative journey. Whether you’re beginning a novel, developing a solo performance, or navigating a new direction in your practice, I’ll meet you where you are. Together we’ll build the confidence, structure and momentum to help you show up for your work – and yourself.
I’ll champion your ideas, ask the questions that move you forward, and offer honest, encouraging feedback that helps your work grow. This is creative teaching and mentorship rooted in collaboration, curiosity and care: someone alongside you to challenge, encourage and accompany you as your creative practice evolves and expands.

My story
I’m a novelist, performance artist and the director of London’s Curious theatre company. My work moves between fiction, theatre, live art and creative research, and my performances have travelled to audiences around the world, including the Sydney Opera House and the Royal Shakespeare Theatre.
I’m the author of Lost Property, a book about love, loss and finding your place in the world and The Invisible Women’s Club which centres around themes of female friendships, the power of finding your voice and comes with a dash of menopausal vigilantism! I love to travel and practice yoga and most of all I love to share my creative skills with others. I have taught writing and performance for thirty years and am dedicated to mentoring writers and artists at all stages of their careers.
I am passionate about working with women mid‑life and on – my fellow ‘Queenagers’ – to help them discover the power and beauty of their voice.
